Since 2005, Crisis Housing Solutions has been providing housing assistance for families in need. This is our goal and will continue to be for many years to come.
As you plan for your future and for the well-being of loved ones, CHS has many meaningful ways you can ensure your legacy continues to support those in need even when you are gone.
Charitable planned gifts to Crisis Housing Solutions can be made in the form of bequests, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance, retirement plans, gift annuities and a variety of other options, including:
- Gift Annuity
In return for your gift, you or one or two annuitants will receive a fixed sum each year for life. - Deferred Gift Annuity
In exchange for your contribution, you or one or two annuitants will receive a fixed sum each year for life beginning at the date of your first payout. - Charitable Reminder Unitrust
Your unitrust pays a fixed percentage of its value, determined each year, to you or others for life or a term of years. The remaining assets will go to charity. - Charitable Reminder Annuity Trust
Your trust pays a fixed dollar amount each year to you or others named for life or a set term of years. - Pooled Income Fund
Your gift is pooled in a fund with gifts from other donors. You or others named will receive your share of the income the fund earns each year for life. Your gift’s share then goes to charity. - Retained Life Estate
You deed your home or farm to charity, but retain the right to live in it for the rest of your life, a set term of years, or a combination of the two. - Charitable Lead Unitrust
Your unitrust pays a fixed percentage of its value, determined each year, to charity for a term of years or one or more lifetimes. The accumulated assets then go back to you or others named. - Charitable Lead Annuity Trust
Your trust pays a fixed dollar amount each year to charity for a term of years or one or more lifetimes. The accumulated assets will then go back to your or others named.
